Buddhist temples are unique structures in and of themselves. Each individual temple will have its own beautiful qualities to it. With that said, there are certain characteristics and aspects of many Buddhist temples which will be similar in nature. They may vary in type or style from facility to facility yet all share similar traits and qualities.

Most Buddhist temples will also have at least one image of Buddha within the temple itself. This may be in the form of statutes or artwork and may be portrayed in a variety of different ways. The image of Buddha is an important inclusion in any Buddhist temple.

Each and every Buddhist temple will vary amongst the masses. Some will be quite simple in nature while others will be architecturally riveting. It all depends on the individual temple itself and where it is located. Regardless, the Buddhist temple is one which exhibits many wonderful characteristics for a variety of reasons.
